What is Nations Christian Church all about?

Our vision is simple. "The whole Gospel to the whole world". That means we must "Build the local church, reach the city and influence the nations”. Nations Church is called to take the good news of Christ from the “end of the earth to the ends of the earth”.

Our mission is based on Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20 “make disciples of all nations”. Making disciples means we are to:
WIN people to Christ
CONNECT those we reach into a loving caring church family
EQUIP people to serve God with all their heart
SERVE release and empower people to serve God in the community and beyond

Here at Nations you will find five things really matter to us:
God and His Word. That means we value His presence, His power, His principles and His passion. As a result we must be people of faith.
Nations Church as family. Because we are family we believe people should be treated with honour, respect, love, acceptance and forgiveness.
Excellence. We do the best we can with what we have and with ALL our heart.
Generosity. We believe it is important that we become giving people in all aspects of life.
Creativity. We value using our talents creatively for the glory of God.

Who’s who?

Pastor Peter Tate (MA, Dip Tching) An experienced pastor of 23 years. Peter is currently an Executive member of the Assemblies of God in New Zealand and lectures at Alphacrucis (A/G National Bible College). Prior to entering the ministry Peter worked as a primary school teacher for 11 years. Annette Tate (Grad Dip TESSOL) Annette is a Speech Language Therapist who has taught English as a Second Language in primary schools for the last 5 years. She is currently completing her M Ed.
